Meet The Spartans (2008)

This is one of the spoof's (Spoofs in my opinion are all bad but somewhat can be rated in their own category) i would say you will like if u like spoofs. This one is based on 300 involving the Spartans fighting the Persians. Though in the spoof, these guys fight the likes of Rocky Balboa, Ghost rider, auto bots and many more crazy misfits. Their fights also have a hip hop number, an ugly yo mama fight. A stupid movie you should only watch if you have nothing else to do in the world. Scenes to look out for, the yo mama fight, the dance sequence, and a few scenes involving Carmen Electra.

Limitless (2011)

Bradley Cooper at his best. Limitless talks about down in the dumps writer Eddie Morra (Cooper) who comes across a  unique drug which makes a person use his whole brain unlike normal humans. It makes a man super focused and lets him use his whole memory and intellect systematically. Like a super human. He goes corporate and gets involved with the big guys. That's when everything goes to hell, until the soft positive end of course. De Niro doesn't  disappoint. A movie you should not miss, Cooper has really done a fantastic job. I wish i had that drug to make me super smart.

Step Up 4 Revolution (2012)

The Step Up Movie series hardly ever disappoints but i have to say even though this part is good, i wouldn't say it is up to to the expectations everyone had. The Creativity was top notch, but the dance moves were not something we haven't seen. The story line was on similar lines of the 3rd part, a crew fighting for a cause, this time to save their home from getting demolished by creating flash mobs everywhere. The thoughts put into the making of  the way the flash mobs will happen is fantastic. The music choice is commendable, mostly dub step genre of music was chosen for the dances. Ryan Guzman Gives justice to the role of Sean and dances gracefully with Kathryn McCormick in the end of the movie. And Moose's guest appearance is short lived but refreshing. The movie is ever changing and colorful. Worth your money. Though this could have been much better. Look out for the museum sequence and the last part, absolutely brilliant!

In time (2011)

The scene is set in the vast future where humans stop aging at 25 and then die after a year if they dont have time. Time is the currency in the future, the rich say young and immortal forever. The poor perish. And when  Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) is given 100 years by a man because he is tired of his life, everyone goes after him. And this is the tale of how he and his runaway associate Sylvia (Amanda Seyfried); who's a rich business man's daughter; run from the Time keeper Raymond Leon(Cillian Murphy) and practically anyone who stands up against them to stand up against the system.  Not one of the best movies, but definitely worth a watch. The concept is very unique and creative.

Yes Man (2008)

Carl ( Jim Carrey) is a pessimistic, unhelpful, and a huge procrastinator. He's stuck at his boring bank job since ages, when he comes across an old friend who introduces him to a new way of life. The power of Yes. He fixates on the idea that saying yes always gets you good things, saying no makes it worse. Since its a Jim Carrey movie,u don't have to guess that its going to be a hilarious movie.Average Story but good for a few laughs. Watch out for Jim Carrey on a ducati with his butt popping out.

The A-Team (2010)

The brains used for this movie can be commendable. I will not say that the movie is fantastic but I would give it a 3 out of 5 rating. Its what i call a one or two time watch movie. Liam Neeson as usual does not disappoint and Bradley cooper is the Funny guy by the name Face.  The unique chemistry between Murdock (Sharlto Copley) and B.A Baracus is just hilarious and worth noticing. The missions these guys go on are creative and action filled and amazingly interesting. The involvement of CIA makes it more action packed. Well portrayed movie, not up to to the mark but worth your time.

The Matrix(1999)

This is the first installment of the trilogy of Matrix. In my opinion its one of the best. It revolves around the protagonist Mr. Thomas Anderson A.K.A Neo(Keanu Reeves)  in the cyber world who is a master hacker. The movie goes around a different line showing that what world Neo was living in was just a virtual reality. The real world is devastated and can be only be saved by him from the machines. The movie has tasteful action sequences, and great actors such as Laurence Fishburne playing as the Morpheus, and Carrie-Ann Moss playing the role of the deadly Trinity. As these 3 Main characters fight the agile Agents the story unfolds into a beautiful action movie. A delight for the Reeves fans.

Avengers (2012)

This movie gets together all the Main hero's of marvel ( except poor Spiderman) and creates a super hero team called Avengers. I can say confidently that Robert Downey jr. is fantastic with his impeccable timing for  his wit & humorous lines. And hulk is someone to watch out for, his moments with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) & Loki (Tom Hiddleston) are absolutely hilarious and brilliant. The movie is a bit slow in the 1st half but picks up fast in the 2nd half. I am eagerly waiting for the sequel, in the after credits there is a small video (which is a trend now) which hints us which the story line of the sequel. I prefer not spoiling it for you. All in all a must watch.

Prince of Persia-Sands of time (2010)

Being able to reverse time is a pretty awesome power to have, and in this movie the Young Prince Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) exactly has that. But as usual there is a evil out there ready to use the time reversing dagger( yes this gets cooler) for its advantage. Dastan's uncle Nizam (Played by Ben Kingsley) has plans to use the dagger to his own advantage to change the past and transform history to his favor. Gemma Arterton has given full justice to the role of  Fugitive princess Tamina. The prince and the princess take you on and unusual journey full of action, adventure and fantasy! A must watch even for the people who love the game of the same movie.

Troy (2004)

This movie, is all BRAD PITT! He has shown in this movie who's the boss. The whole movie revolves around the war erupted between the Trojans and the Greeks because of Trojan Prince Paris eloping off with the queen of Sparta Helen. The furious King of the Greeks Agamemnon wants to take this event as an excuse to defeat the Trojans once and for all. Brad Pitt Playing the role of Achilles acts as the Hero of the Greeks. And Prince Hector( Eric Bana) as the champion for the Trojans. The ending saddens me a bit but that's okay. An epic movie set in the year 1250 B.C. A movie worth watching even twice.

What Women want (2000)

With Mel Gibson at the lead, this movie tells us about a chauvinistic executive in an ad agency who by a freak accident gets a super power to read into the minds of women. What sounds like a golden gift to most men turns out hell for Nick Marshall (Mel) . The story unfolds around him showing how he puts his life back in place in all parts of his life- love life, his daughter, his work, etc with the help of his powers. A fun light movie to watch on a lazy evening.

Sherlock Holmes (2009)

Robert Downey Jr. is at it again at this adventure\crime movie. He with his trusted associate Dr.Watson (played by Jude Law) embark on a journey so beautifully placed on camera by director Guy Richie that you will actually feel the chills when in one scene Lord Blackwood (played by Mark strong) converses with Holmes in jail. A very brilliant plot with well thought out plans set by Lord Blackwood. This truly seems like an adventure of the level of Sherlock Holmes. His legacy lives on! A must movie to watch for Robert’s fans. His acting is an absolute delight.

Iron Man (2008)

Whatever i say about this movie is just less, Robert Downey Jr. just blows out this movie out of proportion with his fantastic performance! A superhero movie is just not something that relies on the script, the actor has a huge responsibility of portraying a character loved by all. And Robert has done full justice to iron man, with his charisma and his wit. Terrence Howard in his character of Rhodey has done a great job being the Great friend as well as a good soldier. And I don't think anyone else other than Jeff bridges could do a better job of being the villain Obadiah. All in all a fun movie for people of all age groups. You wont regret it.

Taken (2008)

Liam Neeson In Taken
Extracting Information
Liam Neeson proves his mettle with this movie. It shows how a retired agent of CIA(played by Neeson) goes on a quest to get back his daughter when she is kidnapped for prostitution. He is separated from his wife and his kid lives with her. So whenever he got a chance to meet his daughter he would take it. Soon his daughter approaches him to allow him to go on a tour in Europe,to which he hesitatingly approves. He soon realizes she is just going with one of her friends for a concert. They both are living alone and soon they are kidnapped by a immigrant group for prostitution, but just before she is kidnapped,he talks to her to find out as much as he can about the culprits. His grueling journey is thrilling to watch,it shows to what limits a father is ready to go to find his daughter and kill anyone who comes in his way.An intelligent movie which by my opinion has some truth to it,not to the story, but to the cause. Corruption is everywhere.
The Agent with his daughter and his ex wife.
Keep this one on your watch list, and look out for "Taken 2" soon to be released. Its a continuation of the story line of the 1st part.
Here's a preview to Taken 2 :
Taken 2 International Trailer

Fight Club (1999)

Brad Pitt and Edward Norton do full justice to this one. Though more than 2 hours long, this movie makes it worth your time. Every minute of this movie is filled with suspense. Edward Norton is portrayed as the Good guy who follows all the rules, and Brad Pitt his exact opposite. You might imagine the movie heading some way, but the end will totally change your views to an angle which you couldn't ever imagine. I was left speechless after this one. I don's want to ruin the movie for you by talking about it. Just watch it!

Inception (2010)

What can i say about this movie? Christopher Nolan ( Of the Dark Knight Fame) as a director, a powerful star cast starring the likes of  Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Levitt & Tom Hardy, this movie could have zero chances of disappointing us. With a story revolving around the basic concept of controlling someone's dream and trying to create inception in somebody's mind, this movie had a power script. In a nut shell, Two rival companies exist. Major superpowers. Satio wants to destroy Maurice Fisher's company by planting an idea into his son's mind to divide his father's empire, that is create an inception in his mind,a job only Cobb(Leonardo) is capable of.  A must watch for anybody who watches Hollywood movies irrespective of their taste.
