Kill Bill Vol.2 (2004)

The saga of Beatrix Kiddo (The Bride) continues...
After Bout with Elle
Her Training with Pai Mei
In this volume she goes after Bill's brother Budd, Elle Driver and conclusively reaches Bill-her former lover and boss. I loved this part more than the previous one,and the one scene that I'll never forget is the coffin scene. Its the most hauntingly beautiful scene I have ever seen in my life. It involves Beatrix being buried into the ground in a coffin alive. When you watch this scene, you will actually feel the chills as the sand is being put on her coffin, you feel suffocated as she suffocates, her panic turns into your panic,Claustrophobia is this whole scene in one word. Her duel with the Master Pai Mei is too good!

My Favorite Burial Scene
Daryl Hannah As Elle Driver

The manner in which she leaves Elle to die is just fantastic,I won't ruin the movie for you. Watch out for the suspense in the end when she finally reaches Bill. The lesser I say about this movie the better it is, I want you to watch it and enjoy it. For the love of God, don't miss this one!

Kill Bill Vol. 1 (2003)

(left to right) Elle Driver, Vernita Green, Budd & O-Ren-Ishii

Uma Thurman (Black Mamba) against the Crazy 88
I came across this movie pretty late (just this year) and i regret not watching it before. Uma Thurman (The Bride) was a deadly assassin with the code name "Black Mamba"  of the Viper assassination Squad until she quit and decided to get married. This didn't go well with the squad and their leader "Bill" (his face was not shown during the movie at all), so they decided to kill her and and the whole gathering at the church. But she survives and after waking up from a long coma of 4 years, decides to take revenge against them all for herself and her missing daughter. This Volume involves her dealing with Vernita Green (Vivica Fox) and O-Ren-Ishii (Lucy Liu) in amazing action sequences, total blood shed(Actually cutting off heads and other body parts),catchy background music, and a lot more. The movie was four hours long hence it was divided in to 2 volumes. Watch out for the fight sequence with the "Crazy 88" and the animated story of O Ren Ishii. A pretty crispy movie which will compel you to watch the 2nd volume(which you should),have fun!

Step Up (2006)

Channing Tatum as Tyler in the Step up Last scene
The first of the popular Step Up Films, this one is unique in its own right. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have this amazing connect and chemistry between them, you can feel them dancing.Tyler has to do community service in a Performing arts school where he meets Nora and agrees to rehearse with her until her partner is back, but as in every successful story, things don't go the way you want them to.
Rehearsals Between Tyler and Nora

The music score in this movie is fantastic!

Date Night (2010)

How many marriages get boring after a couple of years with the busy work, kids, duties etc? well almost all of them. But its up to the couple how change it or make it worse. This movie exactly shows this when Phil Foster (Steve Carrel) and his wife Claire Foster (Tina Fey) try to get some spice in their monotonous life by dining in the city in a fancy restaurant. Due to no empty tables these two take someone else's reservations after which there is a bad case of mistaken identities, cop chase, pole dances, and lets leave the rest for your movie experience. Not a great movie but surely a one time watch with your friends. Steve is a delight as usual. Comic relief.

Vantage Point (2008)

Every story has many different opinions, many different angles. Usually we are only told or made aware about only one of them. Not in this movie. In a different kind of narration, this movie takes us to a situation in Spain where the US president is attempted to be assassinated. There is a wild chase and chaos, and all this is shown through at least 4 different people in that venue. Soon enough all the stories connect into one and reveal who is the real enemy behind the curtain. I wont say the best movie, but I would say its a must watch. Its different from what we all are used to. Dennis Quaid is fantastic as Secret Agent Thomas Barnes.

Sherlock Holmes (2009)

Robert Downey Jr. is at it again at this adventure\crime movie. He with his trusted associate Dr.Watson (played by Jude Law) embark on a journey so beautifully placed on camera by director Guy Richie that you will actually feel the chills when in one scene Lord Blackwood (played by Mark strong) converses with Holmes in jail. A very brilliant plot with well thought out plans set by Lord Blackwood. This truly seems like an adventure of the level of Sherlock Holmes. His legacy lives on! A must movie to watch for Robert’s fans. His acting is an absolute delight.
